We have a couple of options with Instructor level training depending on your current dive experience and certification level. These programs teach you to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor & includes core subjects such as specialty dive training (night, navigation, deep, search & recovery) & tank filling.

The programs are designed so that you can gain valuable experience (& even certifications) working with real students and divers in both recreational & tertiary environments. This will provide you with a good head start when applying for positions within the industry.

Both courses are recognised by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). Dive & Ski HQ is an audited and approved site of the Academy of Diving Trust which is registered as a private training establishment by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority pursuant to the Education Amendment Act 1990.

Our next Diploma in Scuba Dive Instruction program will start on March 2011 and the National Certificate in Diving (Instruction) will start in September 2010. The courses include the AI, OWSI & IE fees plus Instructor Manual, Workbook & slates. Other materials may be required.

Open Water Diver Certification (minimum) 
You must have 6 months diving experience before attending the IE
Over 18yrs of age
