The students from Hutt Valley High School have a better idea after their Careers Expo yesterday.
\nA wide variety of Universities, Polytechs and Private Training Establishments (PTE’s) including Dive HQ attended the event.<\/p>\n

This event gave the students opportunity to discuss future career options and what they need to do to achieve their goals. For some students this means deciding which subjects they should be taking at school next year and others where they should be studying in the future.<\/p>\n

As part of the Academy of Diving<\/a> we can offer National Certificates and Diploma Courses in Scuba Diving alongside a wide variety of PADI Courses.
\nThere are a wide range of diving career paths that work along side other career options such as Marine Sciences, Navy and Film industries or are stand alone dive careers such as Instruction or Commercial Diving.<\/p>\n

And while diving was not the career I had envisaged while I was a student I have been an instructor longer than these students have been alive and for me this is the best career I could have as I still find the work interesting, challenging and rewarding.<\/p>\n
