On\u00a0Sunday\u00a0the\u00a023rd<\/sup>\u00a0of\u00a0October\u00a0Rachel,\u00a0Tomo,\u00a0Shane\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0(Jacob)\u00a0packed\u00a0the\u00a0Navara\u00a0with\u00a0dive\u00a0gear\u00a0and\u00a0headed\u00a0to\u00a0Taupo\u00a0to\u00a0dive\u00a0the\u00a0Rena\u00a0the\u00a0following\u00a0day.
\nI\u00a0must\u00a0say\u00a0I\u00a0was\u00a0very\u00a0excited\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0bet\u00a0everyone\u00a0else\u00a0was\u00a0too!\u00a0It\u00a0was\u00a0a\u00a0long\u00a0drive\u00a0towards\u00a0Taupo\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0just\u00a0couldn\u2019t\u00a0wait\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0next\u00a0day\u00a0to\u00a0come.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0following\u00a0day\u00a0we\u00a0got\u00a0up\u00a0nice\u00a0and\u00a0early\u00a0at\u00a05.30am\u00a0and\u00a0got\u00a0ready\u00a0to\u00a0leave\u00a0to\u00a0Tauranga.\u00a0We\u00a0shortly\u00a0arrived\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0meet\u00a0up\u00a0point\u00a0were\u00a0we\u00a0meet\u00a0Auckland\u00a0Scuba Dive\u00a0and\u00a0their huge\u00a0boat!\u00a0We\u00a0got\u00a0all\u00a0our\u00a0gear\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0boat\u00a0and\u00a0made\u00a0our\u00a0way\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0Rena.\u00a0The\u00a0trip\u00a0was\u00a0very\u00a0bouncy\u00a0for\u00a0Shane\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0(being\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0front\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0bow)\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0estimated\u00a0time\u00a0of\u00a050\u00a0minutes.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0tied\u00a0up\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0stern\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0ship\u00a0which\u00a0sat\u00a0in\u00a036metres\u00a0of\u00a0water,\u00a0Sadly\u00a0I\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0certified\u00a0to\u00a0that\u00a0depth.\u00a0We\u00a0all\u00a0rolled\u00a0off\u00a0to\u00a0boat\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0blue\u00a0ocean,\u00a0Tomo\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0were\u00a0buddy\u2019s\u00a0for\u00a0both\u00a0dives.\u00a0We\u00a0slowly\u00a0descended\u00a0down\u00a0to\u00a030metres\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0could\u00a0see\u00a0the\u00a0ship\u00a0in\u00a0front\u00a0of\u00a0us\u00a0but\u00a0since\u00a0I\u00a0cant\u00a0dive\u00a0to\u00a040m\u00a0we\u00a0had\u00a0to\u00a0turn\u00a0around\u00a0and\u00a0have\u00a0a\u00a0look\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Reef.\u00a0The\u00a0Reef\u00a0was\u00a0amazing\u00a0and
\nfull\u00a0of\u00a0color,\u00a0there\u00a0was\u00a0schools\u00a0of\u00a0fish\u00a0and\u00a0sections\u00a0of\u00a0steel\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0Rena\u00a0lying\u00a0around.\u00a0We\u00a0spend\u00a0most\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0dive\u00a0around\u00a0the\u00a030m-20m\u00a0mark\u00a0for\u00a0quite\u00a0some\u00a0time\u00a0having\u00a0a\u00a0look.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0second\u00a0dive\u00a0we\u00a0moved\u00a0over\u00a0to\u00a0\u201cDive\u00a0site\u00a01\u201d\u00a0were\u00a0the\u00a0Coast\u00a0Guard\u00a0was\u00a0happily\u00a0enjoying\u00a0the\u00a0day\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0sun\u00a0fishing.\u00a0We\u00a0dived\u00a0down\u00a0to\u00a029meters\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0had\u00a0seen\u00a0a\u00a0big\u00a0section\u00a0of\u00a0the
\nwreck.\u00a0We\u00a0explored\u00a0around\u00a0the\u00a0wreak\u00a0and\u00a0had\u00a0a\u00a0look\u00a0inside.\u00a0I\u00a0nearly\u00a0put\u00a0my\u00a0hand\u00a0on\u00a0a\u00a0scorpion\u00a0fish,\u00a0thankfully\u00a0it\u00a0seen\u00a0my\u00a0hand\u00a0coming\u00a0and\u00a0swam\u00a0away.\u00a0Sadly\u00a0I\u00a0may\u00a0have\u00a0been\u00a0slightly
\nnarked\u00a0and when I saw\u00a0a\u00a0huge\u00a0puffer\u00a0fish\u00a0swimming\u00a0around\u00a0I\u00a0must\u00a0say\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0hilarious.\u00a0We\u00a0hovered\u00a0around\u00a0a\u00a0sting\u00a0ray\u00a0while\u00a0Tomo\u00a0took pictures,\u00a0luckily\u00a0he\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0mind\u00a0our\u00a0presence.\u00a0We\u00a0were\u00a0coming\u00a0close\u00a0to\u00a0our\u00a0no\u00a0Deco\u00a0limits\u00a0and\u00a0our\u00a0air\u00a0was\u00a0getting\u00a0low\u00a0so\u00a0we\u00a0made\u00a0our\u00a0way\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0safety\u00a0stop and warmer waters.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0tied\u00a0up\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0stern\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0ship\u00a0which\u00a0sat\u00a0in\u00a036metres\u00a0of\u00a0water,\u00a0Sadly\u00a0I\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0certified\u00a0to\u00a0that\u00a0depth.\u00a0We\u00a0all\u00a0rolled\u00a0off\u00a0to\u00a0boat\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0blue\u00a0ocean,\u00a0Tomo\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0were\u00a0buddy\u2019s\u00a0for\u00a0both\u00a0dives.\u00a0We\u00a0slowly\u00a0descended\u00a0down\u00a0to\u00a030metres\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0could\u00a0see\u00a0the\u00a0ship\u00a0in\u00a0front\u00a0of\u00a0us\u00a0but\u00a0since\u00a0I\u00a0cant\u00a0dive\u00a0to\u00a040m\u00a0we\u00a0had\u00a0to\u00a0turn\u00a0around\u00a0and\u00a0have\u00a0a\u00a0look\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Reef.\u00a0The\u00a0Reef\u00a0was\u00a0amazing\u00a0and full\u00a0of\u00a0color,\u00a0there\u00a0was\u00a0schools\u00a0of\u00a0fish\u00a0and\u00a0sections\u00a0of\u00a0steel\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0Rena\u00a0lying\u00a0around.\u00a0We\u00a0spend\u00a0most\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0dive\u00a0around\u00a0the\u00a030m-20m\u00a0mark\u00a0for\u00a0quite\u00a0some\u00a0time\u00a0having\u00a0a\u00a0look.                                   The\u00a0second\u00a0dive\u00a0we\u00a0moved\u00a0over\u00a0to\u00a0\u201cDive\u00a0site\u00a01\u201d\u00a0were\u00a0the\u00a0Coast\u00a0Guard\u00a0was\u00a0happily\u00a0enjoying\u00a0the\u00a0day\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0sun\u00a0fishing.\u00a0We\u00a0dived\u00a0down\u00a0to\u00a029meters\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0had\u00a0seen\u00a0a\u00a0big\u00a0section\u00a0of\u00a0the wreck.\u00a0We\u00a0explored\u00a0around\u00a0the\u00a0wreak\u00a0and\u00a0had\u00a0a\u00a0look\u00a0inside.\u00a0I\u00a0nearly\u00a0put\u00a0my\u00a0hand\u00a0on\u00a0a\u00a0scorpion\u00a0fish,\u00a0thankfully\u00a0it\u00a0seen\u00a0my\u00a0hand\u00a0coming\u00a0and\u00a0swam\u00a0away.\u00a0Sadly\u00a0I\u00a0may\u00a0have\u00a0been\u00a0slightly
