There are a few times in life when I want to be a boy!
\nThey normally involve a full bladder & a lack of toilets.<\/p>\n

As a diver in Wellington only 2 sites have facilities & while most have bushes they may not offer the most privacy.
\nI have forgotten how often I have moved away from other divers, found a bush or rock to hide behind only to have other divers surface in front of me or drivers in trucks with a higher viewpoint come past at just the wrong moment – cringe!
\nBoat diving is worse – asking\u00a0other divers on the boat to face forward is OK in winter but come summer with 100’s of other boats in the water this is not a favourable option – in fact it is on par with the bucket! And being in a drysuit there is always that fear that as I hang off the back of the boat I will fall in.<\/p>\n

So before I headed south for my ice diving trip I finally ordered my Shewee<\/a>. Unfortunately it didn’t arrive in time – so making yellow snow on a lake at 1800n above sea level was not a private moment. Only 1 other girl had to go up the mountain, while plenty of boys walked away from the group for a minute or two. Does this explain why most of the girls headed back down the mountain so early?<\/p>\n

Anyway my Shewee has arrived & I have been practicing with no problems at all – the real test will come this weekend as I head out for a dive in my drysuit.
