Enjoy adventuring underwater! Explore under the seas, discovering incredible fish, sharks, fauna and wrecks.
Get your PADI open water certification with the expert team at Dive HQ Wellington and enjoy learning a fun new pursuit with a great team of people. After the course you will know how to dive safely up to 18 metres anywhere in the world, independent of an instructor.
We make the process fun and enjoyable and will introduce you to our friendly club of divers and fellow underwater enthusiasts. Our PADI Weekend Open Water Diver Course combines online theory and 4 practical sessions in the pool and sea to give you maximum flexibility!
After completing your online theory you will join us in Wellington for the practical sessions over two weekends. This way you can drive down Friday after work and complete your training over the Saturday and Sunday. We aim to finish before 3pm on Sunday to make sure you have plenty of time to drive home.
Once you complete the training we want to get you back into the water as soon as possible, so we provide free equipment hire when you join 2 of our club dive days!
Our club days are a great way to meet other divers and pick up tips and tricks from more experienced divers; not to mention picking up a cray if thats what you're after.
We can also offer a variety of advice tailored for you, based on your interests and dive goals. Chat with your instructor and find out the best gear, training and dive destinations to meet your needs.
The total course cost is $650 including materials, certification and dive hire.
