Dive Trips

You learnt to dive to go diving, right? So what options do you have now?

Shore Dives:
These are a great way to explore Wellington's rugged coastline, and they enable you to gain valuable experience and comfort underwater. They are free and you will be with a Divemaster or Instructor who will give you a site briefing and will have all the emergency equipment at the dive site just in case. If you wish to dive with a guide please let us know in advance so we can arrange this for you.

We meet at the shop at 9am or ring in and meet us at the beach at 9:45am.
Gear hire is available at special rates on club dives but again please book this in advance.

Boat Dives:
Boat dives offer the opportunity to explore further afield to places less accessible from shore.

Our local boat trips enable us to visit the F69, Island Bay & other local offshore reefs.
$75 + gear hire at special rates
The boat also heads further afield to Red Rocks, Karori Light or Bearing Head
from $85 + gear hire at special rates

A great weekend away - we head up on Friday after work. Saturday is spent at the National Aquarium diving with & feeding sharks, rays & other fish. On Sunday, weather permitting we head out for 2 boat dives on Pania Reef before heading home.

$350 inc 4 dives (2 aquarium, 2 boat), food & accommodation

Lake Taupo:
Just a little different, Taupo is always a fun trip away. After diving, there are plenty of walk ways to explore, hot pools to relax in and the river for a drift snorkel to finish the whole Taupo experience.

$300 inc 7 dives, food & accommodation for 4 days

Poor Knights:
Rated one of the Top 10 dive sites in the world the Poor Knights has something to offer every diver. We head out for a 4 day liveaboard trip with up to 15 dives possible. There is also the option of a shore dive at Goat Island, Leigh Marine Reserve if doing the road trip home.

$950 inc the boat, food & 10 dives (travel & accommodation on the way is extra)

Overseas Trips:
We all love the idea of sunshine, white sand beaches & tropical diving.
This year we headed to Fiji for a week of diving.
2016: August - Niue
2017: Galapagos

Club Activities:
We do have other activities from time to time - including our annual Ladies Night, Underwater Clean Ups, Sea Horse Surveys and others. Check the calendar for these events.
