This course meets all of the requirements of our original Workplace Course but with the extra flexibility of completing the theory portion online in your own time. After completing the online section we will spend 5-6 hours covering the primary care skills and scenario practice.
The Comprehensive First Aid course covers everything that the Workplace/Pediatric course covers and more. Great for those with high risk workplaces that require a more scenario based first aid course.
This course is ideal for occupations whose risks include incidents, illnesses or trauma where supplemental oxygen is highly desirable. The module teaches students to recognise emergencies where emergency oxygen will be beneficial, to provide emergency oxygen to both breathing and non-breathing patients, to understand the hazards associated with oxygen use and to practice safe handling techniques.
This programme deals specifically with the knowledge and skills needed to apply and operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on a patient in cardiopulmonary arrest. The goal of the training is to help gain the core knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to provide effective emergency care using an AED until professional medical care is available.
