Bonjour! My name is Maureen, I’m excited to have joined the Dive HQ team and share my love for the ocean with this community.
Originally from France, I moved to New Zealand 11 years ago, with a background in UX Design. I discovered diving at 17 years old in Corsica, dived in many places around the world before having a break from it after experiencing a DCS. The Ocean was such a big part of my life that I was drawn back to it a few years ago and decided to become an Instructor since then. I’m passionate about teaching others and allow them to experience the freedom of being underwater.
Outside of teaching, I’m a tattoo apprentice and a volunteer with Dive Like a Girl, helping empower more women to discover diving and confidence in the water.
