Dive Club Wellington’s trip to Niue in August 2023 was a lot of fun. We went scuba diving (of course) explored caves and chasms around the island and snorkeled some incredible locations but the highlight had to be swimming with the humpback whales.
We wanted to highlight some of the key skills in scuba diving, and how to achieve mastery of them. There’s a lot to think about while you dive, but we’ve outlined 3 skills that we believe to be the most important, starting off before you even get into the water:
Pre-dive communication
Equalising
Buoyancy Control.
